International Day of Peace Celebration 2026

Join Sustainable Southeast Community Coalition (S2C2) and community partners in celebrating the Annual International Day of Peace on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm with a.free, family-friendly, block party event on SE 50th Avenue between SE Madison and Hawthorne Boulevard in Portland, OR.  We are creating a space where individuals from all backgrounds can unite in a shared vision for a peaceful and sustainable future.

Community organizations and others are joining us to highlight the importance of peace, unity, and social justice.  There will be music, a Tai Chi demonstration, an art creation area for children and children at heart sponsored by S2C2, in partnership with the United Nations Association Portland Chapter (UNA- PDX).
